It’s a challenge now days to find an automotive shop that doesn’t try to cheat you and take you to the cleaners. Honestly,I think it’s more about mechanic knowledge being lost. Truecare has been a life saver they have REAL mechanical expertise and have made our lives so much easier . In the last year we have had our Prius engine replaced, they fixed a problem with our Highlander after spending 6k somewhere else for nothing. They have taken care of our RAV4s and trust them with all future maintenance services as well as repairs . They go above and beyond.

If anyone sees a zero star review it's incorrect it should have been five-stars: Truecare Automotive is hands-down the most honest, fair, and reliable auto shop I have ever used. ​I don't know much about cars, which used to make me nervous about being taken advantage of. Truecare completely changed that. They take the time to explain repairs in terms I can actually understand without ever making me feel silly. ​The day before a holiday a dashboard light came on right before I had to drive to the Bay Area. Even with a full lot on a holiday eve, they squeezed my 2015 Volvo in to make sure I was safe. Instead of taking advantage of my panic, they fixed the simple issue for just $120. They also help me prioritize future repairs so I can budget for them on my fixed income rather than pushing unnecessary work. ​Thanks to their care, my 2015 Volvo is still running fantastically. Took my car to this shop, paid hundreds of dollars and the problem was not fixed… Customer service is also non existent.

Had a warped brake rotor that caused some shaking when braking from highway speed. Dave checked it out & made a solid recommendation about the repair. The repair work wa done as scheduled & the shaking no longer is present. Very satisfied with the overall experiece.
