My experience with Dave Long (the owner) was outstanding. He got me in within a day, provided me with several options/prices, he had the part shipped and it arrived within 90 minutes. Installed and completed the job 2 hours later. He even send a text message with a link to a full report on my car and performed a free total assessment on my vehicle. Dave is honest, and has a very straightforward and trustworthy communication style, which I really appreciated. He isn't trying to sell you anything you don't need and he will try to save you money. Made a huge improvement in how my car is driving. His sign in the entry way says it all--it indicates that the service you get will indeed be "true"--meaning in accordance with fact and reality, honest, and genuine and "care"--meaning the provision of what is necessary for the health of someone or something. Great company that lives up to his namesake. He will be our new regular mechanic.

We were able to get our car towed and with the same day estimate and followed up next day with repair and pick up . We especially liked their summarized email including pictures and detailed estimate of repairs ! We will definitely use them again and highly recommend them ! Dave is fabulous. Great to work with. I bought a used car and took it to Dave to see if it was as good as I thought it was. He checked everything. There were a few issues, but nothing major. He gave me a full written report, and was very reasonably priced. He'll be my go to person for all the work on my new to me car.

As good as it gets! If you’ve ever wished your vehicle was in the care of a master mechanic, take it to TrueCare Automotive in Cameron, Park. Dave Long or one of his employees has serviced my 2003 Honda CRV since purchased it. Dave is an exceptional automotive mechanic and a real gentleman. Because Dave had not personally evaluated the condition of my CRV for several years, as he transitioned his shop from Mountain View to his new location, I was happy to drive the 5 hours round trip from Palo Alto for a through checkup. Fortunately/unfortunately I was rewarded. Almost immediately Dave sensed a virtually inaudible valve-train noise, calling for a valve adjustment. On further inspection, he discovered a condition never before seen in his 20 years of servicing Honda motors. The hardfacing was completely worn from the exhaust-valve camshaft. A projected $300 service ended at $2076. I had the satisfaction of of knowing that a master mechanic had replaced my camshaft and lifters. Get established with Dave if you love your vehicle.
