I tried TrueCare for my 2008 Volvo AC problem after taking it to a couple of other repair shops in the area that couldn't determine the cause of the problem. The techs there performed a lot of testing of the usual suspects, compressor, condenser, etc. But they alone diagnosed the problem back to the ECM control unit, that a short of some kind within it. They manually bypassed the ECM and proved the compressor and all other components were fine and got it to blow cold air. Sadly, they do not service ECMs and recommended I replace it. I did my due diligence and found a Canadian company called XeMODeX where I sent my ECM to them for moving its configuration to a refurbished unit, $600, 24hr turn around. I was happy to see that XeMODeX verified a fault for the AC compressor. Received the module a week later as I used UPS ground not air, installed it myself and Voilà AC now working after 3 summers. Thank you TrueCare and XeMODeX.

Had my car towed there for a waterpump. The following day it was done. Gave me advice on what my car needed. Everything Dave did to my car was explained in detail. Very nice employees. Dave gave me a reasonable price . I would recommend Truecare to my friends and family.

True care service was wonderful. They helped find an intermediate solution until all of the parts came in for the final fix. They communicate well and follow through with what they say they will do. Could not ask for more!!

I just happened to find this little gem, True Care Automotive, tucked away behind Ace Hardware and I’m so happy I did. Great service and affordable. Super impressed w everyone I dealt with. I hope to not have car trouble in the future, but if I do, I know who and where to go.
